Moscow: [IZOGIZ], 1934. Oblong folio (298 x 347 mm). Edited by F. E. Rodionov, N. S. Karpacheva and others. Double-page title opening in black, red and grey, introductory text in red and black, 1 large folding plate printed in red and black at front, 2 pp. of text giving production details at back, otherwise illustrated throughout with images printed in black or single tints (brown, blue, purple, etc.), captioned in black, and with occasional touches of red, all from photographs by G. Zelmanovich, D. Debabov, A. Polyakov and others. Original dark blue cloth with integral protective wallet/display support, the upper cover lettered in gilt with an image of a tank printed in blind in low relief, the lower cover made up of two layers of cloth-covered card, the outer surface of the outer layer blocked in gilt and split in half along the horizontal access by a hinge, and with folding wrap-around sections of cloth-covered boards attached along the lower edge, gilt endpapers. Condition: occasional light soiling, small tears and repairs to the folding plate, crude adhesive tape repair to one leaf ("69 right/70 left"), binding somewhat soiled, scuffed at extremities, some small splits, one end of bracing ribbon for display detached, some neat repairs. deluxe edition of the glorification of the rkka designed by lisstzky.
