Kozhanchikov, [1859]. 296 pp., 8vo (238 x 150 mm). Two frontispieces with tissue guard. Publisher's full light brown calf bordered in gilt. Condition: boards rubbed with occasional abrasions and loss of gilt, corners bumped and frayed, repairs to front cover and spine, endpapers and end leaves with toning to margins, institutional stamps to a few chapter headings. Palauzov was an important nineteenth-century historian who wrote on Rumania, Bulgaria, Austria and Hungary.
