PLATUNOVA, Aleksandra Georgevna (1896-1955). Vinetki [Vignettes]. Kazan: "Vsadnik," 1921. 28 pp., 8vo (151 x 127 mm). Letterpress title. 13 mounted woodcuts (53 x 34 mm and larger) by Platunova. Original decorated wrappers. Condition: text block browned, 2 plates browned. limited edition, the title numbered "24" in red. Platunova was a respected avant-garde artist and the wife of Konstantin Chebotarev. She belonged to the Vsadnik [The Rider] group and contributed to their graphic almanac. Among the other artists she exhibited with were Wassily Kandinsky, Dmitrii Mitrokhin and Aleksandr Rodchenko.
