Moscow: ["GOZNAK"], 1925. 96 pp., large 8vo (270 x 200 mm). 10 plates + 2 in color and mounted with tissue guards. 28 pp. color and black and white advertisements at back. Original decorated wrappers by Rodchenko with two color advertisements on front and back verso. Condition: wrappers with occasional light spotting and small repair to back, reglued to backstrip. With contributions by Abram Efros, Anatolii Lunacharskii, David Shterenberg, Ya. Tugenkhold and others. The Russian section at the International Exposition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925 created a sensation and did perhaps more than any other event to introduce the Russian style and Constructivism in particular to the rest of the world. Among the topics the essays consider are recent Russian graphics, porcelain, stage and industrial design and popular arts. The book concludes with a photograph of Mosselprom.
