Original wrappers with cover design attributed to A. Rodchenko. Condition: light thumbsoiling to wrappers, pencil marks on upper margins on front and back wrappers. A learned treatise on remarkable engineering feats in different parts of the world and different periods in history with special emphasis on bridges, canals and tunnels. Although not signed or credited, this cover is in the same style that Rodchenko utilized for his other "Transpechat" books.
