Condition: backstrip lightly faded. one of 500 copies. Rare catalogue for an exhibition of fine engravings to commemorate the tricentennial of the house of Romanov. It reproduces thirteen examples from more then two hundred works in the show. These includes pictures of coronations, weddings, fireworks demonstrations, spectacles and other festivities. Solovev supplied a brief history of Russia's ruling house from the first Romanov to be elected a tsar, Michael I, to the last, Nicholas II.
