November 1922-1923. Numbers 1-4 (all published), folio (344 x 262 mm). Illustrations (4 mounted). Original thick paper wrappers, the upper covers blocked with varying but linked designs printed in black and another color. Condition: overall toning, ninth leaf in number 1 with clean tear into text area, number 2 with small marginal tears to outer blank margins; some soiling, particularly to number 1, number 4 split at backstrip, neat restoration to numbers 1 and 3. complete set of four issues. This rare periodical had a print run which varied from 1500 (nos.2 & 3) to 2000 (nos.1 & 4). Numbers 1-2 were edited by N. Savkin; numbers 3-4 by the Imaginist collective. With contributions by Sergei Esenin, Osip Mandelshtam, Anatolii Marengof, Matvei Roizman, Vadim Shershenevich, Ippolit Sokolov, Georgii Yakulov and others. This rare journal was the only one published by the influential Imaginists, a group of avant-garde poets and anarchists. (4)
