[Description of the Ceremony of the The Church at the Sign of Our Lady of the Novospassky Monastery...]. Moscow: A. Reshetnikov, 1803. 56 pp., 8vo (212 x 135 mm). Original boards with later stamped spine label. Condition: boards with occasional soiling and rubbing to extremities, slight chipping to spine label with slight loss. Transciption of the ceremony at the Moscow1s Novospassky Monastery or New Monastery of the Savior in Moscow dedicated to Duke Sheremetiev, who with the Romanovs was the biggest patron of this church. It was the first monastery to be founded in the Moscow Kremlin. The Sheremetyev and Romanov boyars used it as a family sepulchre. The Soviets found other more sinister purposes for it, including a prison and a police drunk tank. It was rededicated by the Russian Orthodox Church in 1991. Not in Fekula.*** . .
