Condition: some discoloring of endpapers and edges of dust jacket ruibbed. in the rare original two-color constructivist dust jacket designed by the stenberg brothers. One of 3000 copies. The Stenberg Brothers were two of the most important designers of movie posters during the 1920s. They also worked for the stage. Koonen (1889-1974) was one of the greatest Russian actresses of the early twentieth century. She was her husband Aleksandr Tairov's key performer and muse at his Kamerny Theatre in Moscow.
