The Apollo ascent engine is said to have been the most reliable engine ever built. There was no room for failure since there was only one engine on the LEM. This is one of four Marotta Valves on the Ascent Engine Valve Assembly, also known as the VPA. Each valve controlled either the propellant or the oxidizer. Overall 4.75x2.75"x1.75". Very fine. "
