1960s SATURN IB LAUNCH VEHICLE MODEL

George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Graphic Engineering and Model Branch model 25"x5" on a 5" square wooden base with a 'man' standing at the left corner of the descriptive plaque. The 'man' provides scale perspective with the rocket. The 'package' atop the unit includes separable command module, service module, LEM and instrument unit. Units are separable and show internal parts when taken apart. Comes in original blue wooden NASA carrying case (27"x7"x7"). Some minor surface flaws, but still excellent condition for this rare model not often seen outside of a NASA exhibit.
