More than 30 photos exemplifying Kennedy's fascination and dedication towards space exploration. Included are photos of Kennedy as he watches historic flight of Astronaut Alan Shepard. Photos were taken May 5th, 1961, documenting first American man in space aboard Freedom 7. There are also photos of Kennedy receiving a satellite model from NASA scientists and pictures of him touring a shuttle bay. Photos are in very good to pristine condition.
