A typed letter to Miss Margaret Cragin thanking her for her birthday wishes to the then Governor of New York, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Letter is on State of New York stationery, and dated Feb. 3, 1932. FDR was elected that same year to the Presidency of the United States in the throes of the Great Depression. FDR signed in blue ink.
