1932 PAIR OF LETTERS FROM ELEANOR ROOSEVELT

Two ALS from Mrs. Roosevelt as wife of Governor of New York Franklin Roosevelt to screenwriter George Moran (The Gay Divorcee, etc.). Each is hand-written in black ink on Executive Mansion stationery and is accompanied by a typed rendition of the letter and original envelope. Shows close friendship between the two and the intellect of Mrs. Roosevelt that stood her in good stead later as First Lady and as U.N. Ambassador. Also included is a TLS signed by Kermit Roosevelt.
