Typed 9½x14%1/2%" four page document that is detailed report from the commander of Dnepr Military Fleet, Y. Smirnov, about poorly organized naval forces on Black Sea in Crimea, Oct. 9, 1920. Problem of General Wrangel's army in Crimea remained at this time even though White armies had been soundly defeated. Annotated by Trotsky in red pencil: 'To Chief Commander, to Chief of Staff to familiarize. Trotsky'. Handstamp of Trotsky's secretariat at top. Very scarce autograph on interesting document."
