Four documents or letters signed by Dzerzhinsky (The Iron Felix), Menzhinsky, Yagoda & Beria, respectively. These men built foundation for KGB and their signatures are quite scarce. Each succeeded the other as listed. Dzerzhinsky was first head of CHECKA, GPU & OGPU. Menzhinsky followed as head of OGPU & NKVD. Yagoda came next as head of OGPU and Beria succeeded him as head of NKVD. These four men served Lenin, Stalin or both and were undoubtedly involved in many brutal acts (i.e. Dzerzhensky oversaw the Red Terror). Two documents deal with Red Banner Awards, one announces appointments and Beria's is marked 'top secret' and involves copy of an order of Commander of Finnish Army taken from killed Finnish officer. Rare opportunity to acquire four major figures in early history of USSR.
