Description
Four vintage film-related books, all in good to very good condition. The earliest is from 1916, 'Film Flashes: The Wit and Humor of a Nation in Pictures', published by Leslie-Judge Company. This particular volume contains little snippets and stories talking about actors and actresses' experiences during the Silent Movie era. The other three books are from the 1930s: 'Stars of the Photoplay', a book featuring more than 100 pictures and biographical sketches of the performers of the day, issued by Photoplay magazine in 1930; a library-bound book of several 'Modern Screen' magazines, from April to July of 1934; finally, another book of pics and bio sketches from 1937 titled 'Film Stars of the World'.
