9"X13" gelatin silver double-weight original photograph of glamorous Joan Crawford. Here photographer Willinger posed her close-up, staring off camera, with gigantic emerald (or ruby?) ring prominent on her finger. Photo was taken in 1940 and was used twice by Photoplay magazine according to markings on back. Snipe printed on reverse discusses Crawford's upcoming role in 'The Women'. Photograph is Fine; would be Very Fine if not for pen stain at top edge of front and nearby light crease. Corners are decent with no creasing.
