1934 OVERSIZED PHOTO OF CAROLE LOMBARD BY BULL
Description
An original 10"X13" gelatin silver glossy double-weight photograph of Carole Lombard by famed Hollywood photographer Clarence Bull. Lombard is posed standing next to a chair in a flowing black 'cellophane velvet' dress, as stated by the still-attached snipe on back. Bull's purple 'Kindly Credit...' stamp also on reverse. The snipe states that this dress was worn for an MGM film called 'Repeal', which was apparently the working title for 1934's 'The Gay Bride'. The photo is Fine with some corner damage and minor smudging on the surface. A very elegant pose.
