Approximately 110 mostly B&W 8"X10" photographs of actress, singer and dancer Ann Miller. Miss Miller was renowned for her ability to tap dance at remarkable speeds (often said 500 taps per minute, though that was a studio exaggeration). To help with longer dance numbers Ann Miller actually invented pantyhose in the mid-1940s, though it was not in public commercial use for another decade. About 70 of the photos are chronologically arranged in one album, while the remaining 30 are loose. About 10% are reprints, but they are entirely at the beginning of the album. Most originals are studio issued portraits and fashions. Also some candid wire photos found towards the end. Overall condition is Fine to Very Fine.
