Description
Approximately fifty (50) mostly B&W 8"X10" photographs of Dominican-born actress Maria Montez. Miss Montez was often referred to as the 'Queen of Technicolor', performing in various Latin-themed costumes and jewelry in several adventure-style films during the 1940s. These photographs cover the bulk of her career (she died prematurely at age 39 in 1951). Mostly studio-issued keybook photos, many stills, some portraits, and many in costume. About 95% originals, for the most part in Fine to Very Fine condition.
