A possible one-of-a-kind item, a 7'10"x4'10" Chicago Bears flag that once flew at Wrigley Field during the era when the Bears fielded some of their greatest teams. Many forget that the Bears played at Wrigley Field for some fifty years (1921-1970) before moving across town to Soldier Field. This flag, which was recovered by a scoreboard worker in the early 1960s, certainly flew during the 1950s and well into the '60s. Flag is made of cotton, certainly shows some weather-wear with a little tattering on the end, but is actually in excellent shape for being well over fifty years old and flown. Consignor is a descendant of this scoreboard worker's friend, who gave his grandfather the flag as a gift after it was taken down. Would be an excellent addition to a Chicago-area Sports bar, or for any fan of 'da Bearsss'.
