1887 KALAMAZOO BATS (N690) CARD OF SID FARRAR

A surprise find, this is a trimmed ultra-rare Kalamazoo Bats tobacco card from circa 1887 of Sid Farrar who played for the Philadelphia Quakers (forerunner to the Phillies). The card is identified as such by its width measurement, its heavy cardboard backing, and its outdoor sepia-toned photo typical of this issue. Card has been trimmed along the bottom, unfortunately clipping away the 'Smoke Kalamazoo Bats' logo. Condition hard to grade with the trim, but it can be described as otherwise 'Good' with minor corner creases and some stains on the blank back. Picture still quite crisp - you can see Farrar's facial expression, along with other players milling around in the background. Excellent find!
