A box of unused stamp books from the Official Baseball Album Collection from 1971, one unused stamp book from the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, plus a couple of used booklets from 1969 and 1971. Includes stamp books for all 24 major league baseball teams. Each book contains 24 stamps featuring pictures of each player on the team. The books in the box are in EX-MT condition, some still with glossy covers, and the stamps have not been removed. Notable for being the final year of the second Washington Senators franchise, who would become the Texas Rangers following the 1971 campaign. The box itself has one torn edge, but otherwise stable. Also found here one stamp book from the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, in VG-EX condition (stamps not removed, but stuck to the next page). Finally, an additional used five booklets, three from 1969 and two more from 1971 also included. A nice collectors item for the sports-minded philatelist or sports oddities collector.
