Three vintage gum wrappers from the Lou Gehrig series of 1934 Goudey baseball cards. These were the famous 'Lou Gehrig says...' (and sometimes 'Chuck Klein says...') cards, considered less common than the Goudeys from the prior year. One could send in 20 of these wrappers to obtain a premium item, such as a badge or membership card. Because of this and their inherent delicate nature, wrappers in this condition are relatively difficult to come by. These three wax-paper wrappers are in outstanding condition; they do have the required fold marks associated with being wrapped snug around a cardboard gem and a piece of gum. Certainly, an interesting supplement to your Goudey card collection.
