A mounted 11"x14" color photograph of heavyweight boxers Earnie Shavers and Larry Holmes during their Heavyweight title match in 1979, autographed by both participants. This photo is a snapshot of a moment when Shavers, one of the hardest punchers in boxing history, befell Larry Holmes, a boxer known to absorb much punishment, in round seven. Despite this brief dismantling of Holmes, he would end up defeating Shavers in round eleven by knock-out. Both boxers have hand-signed this photo in black sharpie, with Shavers autograph also inscribed with the word "Peace" and '1979'. Directly from the Earnie Shavers collection, an excellent item for the boxing fan. (2008 PSA/DNA COA)
