Autograph Letter Signed "P.H. Sheridan", in dark ink, April 9, 1881, Chicago, IL, doublesided sheet, folded to four pages, 5" x 6.5" and hinged to a larger card to 8.5" x 6", Very Fine. Addressed to "My dear Strong," regarding personal issues, including asking Strong to attend a function in his place. Slight staining around the edges, but item is in excellent condition.
