FRANCIS BERNARD, Royal American Colonial Governor.
July 6, 1763, Province of Massachusetts-Bay, Boston, Partially-Printed Payment Order for Military Supplies, Signed "Fra. Bernard" as Governor, Choice Very Fine. This impressive, boldly printed and completed order measures 7.75" x 6.5" and has great eye appeal. It is a payment order for Ten Pounds... "for Wages of the Officers, in Capt. Saml. Robinson's Roll in 1758, for his Supplies to them while in ye Service..." Signed below by Francis Bernard. The paper is so original that much press text embossing remains and all of the signatures and written text are in vivid bold brown. An excellent, historic, French & Indian War Military Order that would be great for display.
