Early Broad Head Whaling Harpoon

c. 1800, Large Whaler's Harpoon Head Relic, Very Good.
This is a large, broad-headed, iron harpoon head relic, measures 14" in length, with a blade 7" wide and 5" long. Typical relic iron patina, with a portion of the original wooden handle remaining inside the neck shaft. No small spear, this device was meant to kill the whale.
