This uncolored Proof of the Washington family portrait is after a painting by "G. Schussele." It measures 18" x 23.75" (image) and framed under glass to 25" x 32." Printed by Irwin & Sartain, marked "PROOF" in lower righthand corner. Browned overall, with minor dampstaining in margins. A beautifully executed Proof print, featuring Washington's family, including a depiction of a map of the District of Columbia!
