"LA FAYETTE," Sold by "H. Korn" of Philadelphia, 4" x 1.2". A stunningly original example. Featuring a youthful portrait of Lafayette in uniform, surrounded by an oval border and sun rays, with a defiant eagle atop the portrait. The streaming banners in the eagle's beak read: "OUR NATION'S BOAST." Printed in black ink on clean, cream-colored silk. The edges have a nice decorative lace design. Superb quality.
