Manuscript Document Signed, "James Cornet, 17th U.S. Infantry," on cut, blue-lined paper, 4.75" x 7.75". Includes canceled, pale blue, 2¢ U.S. Internal Revenue Stamp in lower left corner. "Received at Buffalo N.Y. this 20th day of September 1864, of John W. Brown, member of the Genesee Co. Bounty Committee the sum of four hundred dollars ... for Samuel Norris, enlisted for three years in the 17th U.S. Infantry and credited to the town of Pembroke..."
