Patriotic Civil War Cover Postally Used c.1863, Patriotic Civil War Cover, Printed in Red, White and Blue, Postally Used, Choice Fine. Addressed to Mt. Carmel, KY (?), 3.25" x 5.25", with brown 3¢ Washington stamp, pen canceled. The patriotic design consists of a Union officer, printed in blue, holding a red, white and blue American flag, and raising his sword to lead a charge. Carefully opened on the right end.
