Three General Ulysses S. Grant Printed "Letters"

c. 1864, "Grant Letters" Broadside, Fine.
18" x 6", includes three printed letters sent by General U.S. Grant, two to Hon. E.B. Washburne and one to Hon. Edwin B. Stanton. In order from top to bottom, the letters are titled: "On Slavery and Reconstruction," "On Results of 'Peace on Any Terms'" and "On Filling the Armies." Someone has written in ink on the reverse: "Gen Grant's Letters/Aug. 16, 30 & Sept. 13, 1864." The handwriting bleeds-through to the front but does not affect any of the text of the letters.
