1868 & 1872 Two Republican Party Campaign Tickets for Ulysses S. Grant for President.
1. 1868 NATIONAL REPUBLICAN TICKET. A small, paper handbill printed in black featuring Ulysses S. Grant for President and Schuyler Colfax for Vice-President and a list of electors, 5.25" x 2.75", Fine. Contains a fine illustration of a soldier and a workman on either side of an image of Grant. The paper has toned with age. Very scarce. Ex: EAHA Auction, October 14, 2000, Lot 1322, where it sold for $316.

2. 1872 Ulysses S. Grant & Henry Wilson Republican Party Campaign Ticket, Extremely Fine. 7.75" x 5" uncolored ticket, uneven margins, with a large logo with portraits of Grant and Wilson, surmounted by a robed Lady Liberty, and the campaign slogan: "Let Us Have Peace." Includes a list of presidential electors. Ex: EAHA Auction, June 7, 2003, Lot 1434, where it sold for $86.
