c. 1870 Lyric Sheet for "DOLLY VARDEN" by "Prof. Carey," Printed at Bruce's Print, San Francisco, CA, Choice Very Fine.
The lyric sheet, 6.25" x 3.25", was printed at "Bruce's Print, 537 Sacramento St." on yellow paper. The lyrics, by "PROF. CAREY", are printed in black down the center of the page with a decorative border surrounding. The chorus is as follows: "Dolly, fairest, sweetest, dearest,/ Look me, darling, in the eye,/ Do the right to all, sweet dearest,/ Blow no sand into me eye." Minor holes and wear; else fine. Wonderful, early California song lyric sheet!
