Seven Maps of the Voyages of Captain James Cook

c. 1781, Seven Maps relating to the Voyages of Captain James Cook, Choice Very Fine to Extremely Fine.
Published in London by Alexander Hogg for use as illustrations in books describing Capt. James Cook's voyages. Each map is disbound; the smallest measures 9.5" x 13.25" overall; most measure 9.25" x 15.25" overall. The following maps are included:
1. Chart of the Society Isles discovered by Captn. Cook 1769
2. Christmas Island (this is the smallest of the maps)
3. Chart of the Friendly Islands
4. Sketch of Tongataboo Harbour
5. Maps of Wanooaette Isld, Wateeoo I., Mangeea Island, and Toobouai Island
6. Chart of Van Diemen's Land
7. Views of Adventure Bay on Van Diemen's Land
Each map is in excellent condition, some with light toning or foxing, all would make nice display items.
