Georgia Currency
Rare $17 Georgia 1777 Blue-Green Seal "Rattlesnake" Note

Georgia. 1777 Blue-Green Seal. Seventeen Dollars. "Rattlesnake" Vignette. PASS-CO graded Very Fine-35.
For currency collector's of odd denominations and/or significant rarities, this lot represents an outstanding opportunity! This note is both well centered and printed. It has red and black text within large margins. There is a colorful, deep blue-green "Rattlesnake" vignette seal at the lower right. There is some original press-bed or fingerprint smudging in the upper left with traces of the blue-green ink that was used for the seal. A couple of deft small edge repairs are virtually invisible. Overall, this specimen is very rare and an important $17 denomination that is lacking is most Colonial Georgia collections.

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
