Rhode Island Currency
Rare May 3, 1775 Rhode Island One Shilling Note

Colony of Rhode Island. May 3, 1775. One Shilling. PASS-CO graded Very Fine-20.
Light conservation is noted on the holder as there is some reinforcement to the folds and centerfold edges. This note is whole and complete with a well printed and evenly worn appearance. Signed by Metcalfe Bowler, this issue carried a 2.5% Interest per year and was due to be returned to the Treasury in two years, by 1777 to be redeemed and destroyed, thus very rare. PMG reports certifying three notes of this issue, none being a One Shilling denomination.

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
