Condition: jacket slightly rubbed long edges, short closed tear at spine head, edges of inner flaps very slightly abraded by old protector,else a very collectible copy of a book hard to find in good condition, with custom cloth slipcase. first edition of the author's classic first novel and tale of 'valve trouble'. Published posthumously with the help of Walker Percy, who gave in the repeated entreaties of the author's mother to read her dead son's manuscript.
