Condition: repaired short tear to the map, staining on verso of title; rebacked, retipped and recased. Provenance: Jay T. Snider. first and best early history of maine. The accompanying map is the first of the region to be printed in America and is based on actual surveys. Evans 29589; Howes S1122; Sabin 93499.
