Annapolis: Jonas Green, 1755. 8pp., folio (310 x 190 mm). Woodcut arms of the Province of Maryland on the title. Modern calf-backed marbled boards. Condition: some staining and slight chipping at top edge. Provenance: Maryland Historical Society (deaccessioned duplicate stamp on title). This session printing of the Acts of the Maryland Assembly include laws relating to the French and Indian War: "An Act to Prevent the People of this Province from Supplying the French, or their Indian Allies, with Ammunition, Warlike Stores, or Provisions, of any Kind" and "An Act for Regulating the Rates of Carriage, and Quartering Soldiers in Public Houses, within this Province, for His Majesty's Service." Also included are acts on currency, courts, and tobacco. Wroth locates nine copies, including this one. Evans 7458; Wroth, Maryland 180.
