[1], 13 pp., folio (315 x 195 mm). Woodcut arms of the Province of Maryland on the title. Original plain paper wrappers. Housed in a cloth folding case. Condition: minor restoration at sheet edges, staining in the rear; some chipping to wrappers. This session printing of the laws of the Maryland Assembly includes "An Act for his Majesty's Service, and the more immediate Defense and Protection of the Frontier Inhabitants of this Province." This French and Indian War law calls for the raising of 500 men to be organized into companies to protect the frontier, and stipulates the manner of their deployment. Also included is "An Act for the relief of sundry Inhabitants of this Province, who have had their Servants Enlisted into his Majesty's Service" and "An Act to prevent the Exportation or Carrying out of this Province, Ammunition, Warlike Stores, or Provisions of any Kind, toward supplying the French or their Allies."
