Title: Two pairs of bookends by K & O Company circa 1930.
Author: ** Description: Includes: Pair of metal bookends each identical figures of a young boy standing up against a wall, gazing up into the sky. Polychrome painted clothing and hair. The back of each has lovely diamond and flower pattern. Original green felt at bottom. 7¾ tall with a 3¾x3¾" base. * Pair of identical bookends of a scholar reaching for the uppermost book of a large stack of books, some of which have begun to fall on him. The books are painted various colors, the figure of the man is unpainted. 6¼ tall with 2¾x4" base. Bottom of bookends not enclosed.The back of each bookend has the raised stamp of K & O Co.
