Title: Two pairs of sculptural bookends.
Author: ** Description: Includes: Pair of sculptural figures. One man in a cap clutches an hourglass. He is looking at the hourglass with his eyebrows furrowed and his mouth wide open. The other figure is a bearded man who looks into the face of a snarling tiger peeking out from a wall. He holds a tool in his left hand and his face bears an expression of woeful consternation; mouth agape eyebrows down turned. Black felt on bottom, unlabeled. Some chipping. 6½" tall with 4x5" base. * Pair of bookends of a medieval lute player. A man in a mask, hat and cape sits on a grand chair with legs crossed and holds the lute up, strumming the strings, his mouth open in song. Green felt on base, unlabeled. 7½" tall with 3¼x4" base.
