Something for a Boston Fan this Holiday season. A blunder by the Giants' Snodgrass opened the door to a World Championship for the Boston squad. This incredibly rare vintage postcard mailer is marked "Genuine Photograph made exclusively by the Photo Art Shop, Swampscott, Mass." and likely dates from late September, before the World Series was played. Text at bottom front reads, "Season 1912, Champions of the American League, Boston Red Sox." Hall of Famers Wood, Hooper and Speaker are among those pictured. Lelands sold one of these postcards in 2001 for 675.00. Folds on the corners, two creases right side corners. A chance to own a piece of real American Baseball history. Red Sox memorabilia holds its value way better than the stock market! Ask any Red Sox Fan. ... includes certificate that this lot came from the Estate of Louise Mondani Graham, owner of the Brass Bugle Antique Barn in Cornwall Bridge CT.
