A fine and unusual example with blue enamel overall to the twisted form body, the gilt metal mounts are hallmarked in numerous places with a variety of very small, somewhat difficult, hallmarks. The cover, heavily chased with reserves of embossed fruit, is topped by a figural bear and family crest. Measurements of 5 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches.
Condition reportExcellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, no damage or abuse, no repair.
