Oblong shape with lift front decorated with classical scenes in enamel as is the base. The front opens to a saw-pierced and engraved grille that swings to the right to reveal a seaweed pattern enamel interior. More primitive latch and hinges, the bail marked with stamped hallmark A, circa 1820. Measurements of 2 x 1 1/4 inches.
Condition reportGood noting possible enamel restoration to the lower section near the latch.
