FINE ENAMEL & GOLD MUSIC THEME VINAIGRETTE

A ball shaped form enameled in deep blue with designs on the cover of written sheet music in white enamels. The push button stem releases the front half to reveal a gold inner grille with saw-pierced designs of sheet music again. Fine detail and quality, circa 1850, no markings found. Measurements of 1 3/4 x 1 inches.

Excellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, no damage or repair.
