A flower form with four guilloché petals in scarlet red with green details that, by design, would open to reveal the circular form vinaigrette with saw-pierced and hinged grille. A knob on the stem is to turn and operate the opening of the flower. Above the knob are two green guilloché enamel leaves and above them are two bright cut leaves. The stem is marked patent, along with another stamped letter that appears to be G. Mechanism works tolerably although one petal is unresponsive. Measures 2 1/2 x 2 inches with petals open.

Excellent, complete, tight clasp and hinge, no damage or abuse, no monogram or engraving.
